(1) The Government of Nepal may set up any or all of the following funds as required with the participation of the private and cooperative sectors for the industrial development, promotion and protection of the country:-
(a) Micro, Domestic and Small Enterprise Development Fund,
(b) Risk capital (venture capital) funds,
(c) Technology Development Fund,
(d) Industrial Investment Protection and Promotion Fund,
(e) Sick Industries Revival, Reconstruction and Management Fund,
(f) Women Entrepreneurship Development Fund (2) The amount deposited in the fund mentioned in sub-section (1), the procedures and other arrangements related to the management and operation of such fund shall be as prescribed.
(3) Micro, domestic and small enterprise development fund, micro, domestic and small industry credit disbursement fund, technology development fund and women's entrepreneurship development fund established and operated by the Government of Nepal at the time of commencement of this Act shall be deemed to be established and operated in accordance with this Act.
